Membangun Generasi Penerus Batik Tulis Lasem melalui Sustainable Heritage-Based Capital

Batik Tulis Lasem merupakan salah satu warisan budaya penting di Jawa Tengah yang menghadapi tantangan serius, yaitu menurunnya jumlah pembatik muda, lemahnya transfer pengetahuan antargenerasi, serta terbatasnya dukungan ekonomi dan kelembagaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang menghambat regenerasi pembatik Batik Tulis Lasem, menentukan bentuk modal yang paling penting dalam mendukung keberlanjutan regenerasi, serta merumuskan Sustainable Heritage-Based Capital untuk regenerasi pembatik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus eksploratif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, Focus Group Discussion, dan observasi partisipatif yang melibatkan 10 informan yang terdiri atas pembatik, pemilik usaha batik, tokoh masyarakat, aktivis budaya, dan pemangku kepentingan terkait di Lasem. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerentanan ekonomi merupakan hambatan utama regenerasi pembatik karena rendahnya pendapatan dan terbatasnya prospek kesejahteraan menyebabkan generasi muda kurang tertarik memasuki profesi tersebut. Penelitian juga menemukan bahwa economic capital merupakan bentuk modal yang paling kritis dalam mendukung regenerasi, diikuti oleh cultural capital, social capital, dan institutional capital. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengembangkan Sustainable Heritage-Based Capital yang mengintegrasikan keempat bentuk modal tersebut dalam satu ekosistem regenerasi berkelanjutan. Model ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan Sustainable Heritage-Based Capital melalui adaptasi Human Capital Theory serta menyediakan kerangka kebijakan untuk mendukung pelestarian budaya dan pembangunan ekonomi lokal berbasis warisan budaya.
