This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership support and performance appraisals on work morale and their impact on employee performance at Bank Jambi Head Office. Leadership support is seen as a factor capable of increasing motivation and work morale through providing direction, attention, recognition, and facilitation of work needs. Meanwhile, objective and transparent performance appraisals are expected to encourage employees to improve the quality and quantity of their work. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was 168 employees at Bank Jambi Head Office. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a 7.5% error rate, resulting in 118 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results are expected to show that leadership support and performance appraisals have a positive effect on work morale. Furthermore, leadership support, performance appraisals, and morale are expected to have a positive effect on employee performance. Morale is also expected to act as a mediating variable in the relationship between leadership support and performance appraisals on employee performance. The research findings are expected to contribute to the development of human resource management strategies, particularly in improving performance through strengthening leadership support and a fair and transparent performance appraisal system.
